Quick & easy hot chocolate sauce

With all the talk of chocolate on other threads, it reminded me of this recipe -which is excellent used to make a sundae or just over icecream.


375g can condensed milk
100g cooking chocolate, broken into small pieces (I like dark chocolate)

Combine the can of condensed milk and broken chocolate into a saucepan. Stir over low heat until the chocolate has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Here is another one:

1 x 250ml cream
2 x 44g Bar One, cut into smallish pieces

Combine cream and chocolate in saucepan, stir continuously over low heat until chocolate is melted. It takes about half an hour to do.

These sound so easy and delicious. Now, where's my icecream??? Oh, yeah, I ate it. So, I guess it's off to the store, cause after all if my SiCK buddies post a great recipe isn't it my duty to try it???

My sister says that skim condensed milk should always be used - ha ha, but then she also thinks that if you break a piece of chocolate all the calories get loose and don't count anymore.

Mesewnice, you just broke my bubble, I would have sworn that the calories got loose and didn't count anymore when the coloclote was broken. How I need some chocolate to get over my broken bubble. LOL
