Dad's birthday

The good news for us is that tomorrow is my Dad's 91st birthday. We are taking him and my MIL (she's 93, 94 in April) out for lunch and a little celebration!

He is the only surviving member of his family and we are taking good care of him.

Well tell him Happy Birthday from me. Not that he knows me - lol. And your MIL as well. The older they get the more intersting they are. My Aunt turns 90 in MAy. And we are taking her out for pizza. She's been planning this pizza party since went into the hospital last November! Her celeabration of life!

It is so nice to be able to enjoy special days with family. I'm wishing your dad a happy birthday and good health for this year and more years to come for both him and his wife. Being able to share multi-generation experience is such a blessing. Have you ever thought about recording stories of his early life experiences to hand down another generation or two?

Thank you, all, for the good wishes. It was a fun time, especially since we drove our 1947 Chevrolet. And, as older folks tend to remember the "past" so well, it was a real treat for them to ride in a car they can remember!
