It's so nice to be asked to make something for someone else. I can understand why you were asked as your work is beautiful. Well done Shihaya.
It's not as if I hadn't thought about earning a little money with my machine, but the first "job" I got came to me by pure chance.
I made some neckerchiefs for my little girls and almost every little kid I know in testing out the machine
Now my friend has asked me to do one for her nephew's baby because she's going to have an unusual name.
I'm not going to charge her much, since she is a real good friend, the DD2's godmother and has very little money, but it's a nice warm fuzzy feeling

Love like there is no tomorrowLife upon the Earth is not a burden to be borne, but a joy to be learned and shared with others
So congrats and much more embroidery "Work"![]()
Isn't it just the best feeling to be asked to do something "professionally?" That is how I got started with my little business. A lady at church asked me to sew "a few" things for Christmas gifts for her. I thought I would just charge her for my supplies. That was a mistake. Her "few" things ended up being 32. I later found out the standard for here is $1/1000 stitches. Still very cheap. I do still give "discounts" to friends and folks that I know are struggling. I just cover my expenses if it is not very many peices. So, congrats on your job. I've seen your work and know you will do GREAT.
Oh how exciting for you I am sure you will be getting more asking from your childrens friends and from other people who see your items, keep up the good work
This is very exciting! Hope it continues to grow. Dreama

So happy for you. I remember my first job. I make several different things. My first paying job was a mink teddy bear. Then I got my next job making a T-shirt quilt. After that I'm always making mink teddy bears and quilts. I also make bunnies out of rabbit fur. Now people are seeing my embroidery and asking how much, so I know I'll get some work doing that too.
Hope you business takes off as much as you can handle.
Thank you all for your good wishes
Well, I'm not planning to start off a self-employed full time job, but a little extra money now and then for buying new fabric would be nice.
And now I need money for buying embroidery thread and stabilizer, too![]()
