I am happy for you, wissewer! I hope that all the problems had now been sorted out properly. Look forward to the pictures!
Picked up my machine yesterday for another $30.00 repair charge which wouldn't have been too bad if it hadn't just come home from the shop two weeks before! Am anxious to try it, but first, our granddaughter asked me to make her a costume for a school report on Elizabeth Blackwell (1821-1920, I think). We found a darling pattern at JoAnn's and material at GoodWill yesterday, too. The bottom half of the dress is going to be a black skirt we found also at Goodwill for $5.00. The fabric is a beautiful ivory that was only $2.00 for almost 3 yards! Sometimes, it pays to shop those places, if you have time.
Will send a picture when it's finished.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Glad you got the machine back. Hope it's good to go this time. Don't let the embroidery unit sit too long before giving it a try.

Sewing is just another way to show your love
Let us know what they fixed to solve your problem.
Hope this time it is fixed and you can enjoy your machine.
Did they say why this wasn't fixed when you had it in before?

I always make the repair man explain to me what he fixed and what caused it. that way if I've done something maybe I won't do it again. and if he "fixed it" - then I won't have to pay a second time to have him repair it. Luckily both repair shops I use are pretty good. My Brother dealer is great about that - expalining what happened. My singer repair guy - he expalins - but sometimes he speaks a different language when he explains lol.
wissewer I am glad you got your Machine back, lets hope he fixed this time.
Enjoy Ria

So glad that you got your machine back! Can't wait to see that dress, historical costumes are so fun!
Sincerely, Kat
I would have appreciated talking with the repairman, but he is the husband of the owner and works full time at another job. He does repairs in his "spare" time which is why it takes so long. So, the lady whom I paid for the repairs didn't know what was done and couldn't read his writing either! The owner is an extremely nice lady who would not charge twice for the same repair, so I'm assuming her husband is, too.
Once you have a technological miracle like the embroidery machines, however, you become a hostage to that technology and need experts to keep them humming. I think that's true of many things today. For example, my husband is an old car collector ('47 Chevy; '67 GTO; '51 Chevy pickup; '69 Mustang) and quite handy with them, but our family car has so many buzzers and whistles that set off a multitude of lights and beeps if you touch the wrong thing that only the experts at the dealership can fix it.
Earlier tonight, we were racing Wii Mario Kart with our sons over the WFC channel on tv. That is an amazing technology, too, since they are in different places over 50 miles away, yet we can pit ourselves against them on tv! So far, I have managed to always place last in the races, but the good news is that I can now at least finish the race. When we started, I couldn't keep my car on the race track!!!
Veered off message here, too, but I'm feeling chatty, I guess. Good night, all. Hope you all have had a wonderful day and that Life will treat you right.
Good Luck I have a PE700ll that has been in the shop seven times since I purchased it less than a year and a half ago. They always say what they did, but it is not what my complaint was about. It is due back tuesday if UPS is running on time.
Glad you got your machine back. Hoping that this time it is fixed correctly.

I'm glad your machine is back I am still waiting. I called today and was told it would be sometime next week. That is unacceptable! I want it NOW! I have too many projects in to do.
Glad you got your machine back and it didnt cost big bucks
Man, I fret when mine are away being serviced or fixed even tho I know they'll come home working much better than when they left .. I still fret
About a year ago I hadnt done much sewing and since I hadn't been needing my sewing machine any time soon, I sent it off for a service. Oh my goodness I was like a mom with a lost child lol and of course was suddenly wanting to sew. Sure was sweet to get it home again. It was like I'd just bought it, soooo quiet. My overlocker should go in for a service but I know I'll fret for the 3 weeks its gone :s
