      Default I am sooooooo happy

I am so happy , my daughter is pregnant again. She is almost 39 so she doesn't have much time anymore. But everything is ok and I hope it stays that way.

Congratulations. I pray everything goes well with the pregnancy. I'm sure it will. I wish my daughter would have a girl but she's not married now. She has not had good luck having babies. I have 1 great grandson and that's all I'll ever have. My DD has lost 4 and shes 33 so not much time to find a husband and have more children that she doesn't loose.

never give up hope. My daughter met her husband six years ago and now she is the proud mother of a beautiful girl and the second one on the way. They don't yet know what it will be. That is too soon.

saskia, I was considerably older than your daughter is when my daughter was born, and it was a much easier pregnancy than my first one eighteen years earlier - so her age should not be a concern for you. - If anything, it made me younger (as no doubt being a Grandma has already done for you).
I therefore give you whole-hearted congratulations, and know that this new addition is going to bring you joys unbounded

You never know 123mccoach , my DIL passed away and my son has 4 but he could marry someone with children or he could marry someone who doesn't have any and she might want her own. Never know!!!

Congrats!!! Nothing like grandchildren. My son and wife blessed us with number 2 in Nov. Such cuties. Aren't we blessed to have "excuses" to use our wonderful addictions and call them newborn gifts?

Congratulations!!! So happy for you! That is wonderful news and I'm sure she will have a happy, healthy pregnancy. My oldest daughter blessed me with 4 grandsons. Still waiting on my youngest, been married 3 years and still no babies. From what they say "not lack of trying". I have already put the "nana curse on them"..... 4 granddaughters - my son-in-law wants to shoot me. lol

Give your daughter my best and tell her congratulations for me.

      Have a wonderful weekend!

I am not very good at quilting but the rest of the suggestions is good.
And you are right that the mother tends to be forgotten once the baby is born. And the father too for that matter.

And everybody thank you for your warm wishes and kind words.

You don't have to be good at quilting - it is the idea that counts. Anyway, you could embroidery blocks, sew it together, and make a quilt - easy. And my spelling stinks - "soecial"!

Second that. I made my baby daughter one and the quilting is horrible, but overall it's great item.
But how about some pregnancy-shirts and dresses for your daughter? They're soooo expensive.
