I have the house to myself tonight....my dear hubby has gone out of town to a men's retreat.
Too bad the weather will keep me at home...
Ah, well..I would only go out and shop, spend money and
have to find a place to eat dinner...alone.
Everyone have a great weekend....
God Bless!

Well I thought I was going to have a quiet evening at home. My DD has a game tonight and my son that will be 20 in March is always quiet...my oldest daughter called and asked me to babysit her two that are 5 and 12. Need I say more.
Ginny.... we need to hear from you.
Watermelon..you are missed.
Tracy...where are you.
My hubby had gone shopping, so I have a few hours to myself right now - just going through my mail and then setting up the machine to do another block of the Chinese Sewing Tryptich.
Sonia what is Chinese Sewing Tryptich? I love it when I can be alone! I'm almost jelous! Tee hee! Actually I am glad my DH was home tonight , he watched the baby and I got to sew. Joyce
It is a set from BFC Creations that I am doing at the moment.
How gorgeous, Sonia
Well, hubby is shopping, too.
Not that it's any use to me except that I don't have to go shopping myself. DD1 and I are down with an upset stomach.
And since I ruined 2 Shirts yesterday I think I will not put the machine on today

Sorry to hear about your stomach, Shihaya! Is it a runny tummy - if so, take one teaspoon of custard powder on half a glass of water - that should stop it.
At least you can look at your designs today and decide what you want to do tomorrow!
Regarding the Triptych, I am impatient to see the outcome. I have still not decided exactly how I am going to finish it - that decision will be made right at the end, maybe the panels and maybe a wall hanging.
Wow, never heard that cure
I'm more concerned about DD1, who's thin as a stick already and DD2 not catching it, because she's still a baby
Thanks for your concern

That's what friends are for!
Consider yourself hugged
hmpf, there should be a hugging smilie
I think I managed to save my daughter's shirt, but I'll have to finish the embroidery by hand and I'm lacking will, energy and thread at the moment.

Thanks for the hug!
The will and energy will be back tomorrow, so relax today. The thread I am not too sure of!
I hope so, but I also fear that it will result in catching up with the housework not done today. Although hubby is a great help, I must say, he's the best. He's man enough to do the laundry.

I am not sure that I want DH to touch the laundry - that could be a disaster! He will cook tonight so I can get on with the embroidery. He will also feed the birds, which is great. I hope to get quite a few panels done today.
Oh, I taught him how to do that using baby-steps. First how to start a machine I had loaded in the evening early next morning, then I would sort it and let him load the machine, now he knows that black undies are not to be washed with white undies![]()

My husband only knows one thing and that is to load the machine to the top - doesn't matter what goes in! I suppose it is also OK that he is at least willing to do that, but he is also quite willing to do a lot of other things, like leaving me to do my sewing and embroidery! I can even send him to buy thread!
I suppose I could do that if I wrote down exactly what I needed, like brand, colour code, lenghts, weight and such.
But now I'm alone at home, too, I sent them to the Zoo. I've set the machine to work (no problems so far) and I'm trying to keep up with ironing. I hate it.

You just needed some time alone, Shihaya, just you and your machine. What are you embroidering?
I share your sentiments about ironing. Almost none of my clothes need ironing, provided it was hung up properly, so I try not to skimp on the time spent doing that, otherwise I have to iron, and that takes too long.
By the way, I like your projects and your children are adorable!
