I'm a sucker for tote bags. I generally make my own (one of the few things I actually sew), but upon your recommendation, I will have to go take another look.
Hi everyone.
After reading on the forum about embroidery addiction, I have just received a coffee mug and tote bag with the verse about embroidery that I bought from cafepress. They are worth the money. Thought I would let everyone know it is well worth purchasing if you are interested.
Cheers Shirley

Never give up, never surrender.
Hi la cole. Yes I love tote bags too. The material is medium weight canvas, well made and it is plain colour with the words on the front. I think my husband is more excited about it than I am hee hee. Cheers
Hello,
I just love the tote bags and also i have a good collection of these type of bags. Actually i have a different type of collection for different occasion. Recently my mom given me a beautiful embroidery handbag from the Handbag Addiction. That was too good and so beautiful.
I never thought that I could enjoy anything so much. Yes, it is definitely an addiction. I just love seeing the designs coming together and now I am branching out instead of making just tablecloths to gift bags pillowcases curtains and a lot of other things. I haven't tried a tote yet, must one of these days. Cheers, Shirley![]()
I have put another request somewhere here and have lost where I have posted it. The question is has anyone embroidered out the easter egg holders yet. What fabric did you use and what stabilizer did you use. Also I presume you cut around the edge when it is completed. Can anyone help please. Cheers Shirley
There is something you can get that will print that pattern on to the special paper. What you do then I believe is to iron it onto the fabric. I am sorry but at the moment I do not know the name but I will look for it and get back to you with an EDIT.

hi everyone,I am karen,i will say something about process of embroidery:
There are several kinds of embroidery softwares available. This variety includes softwares that can convert a photograph into an embroidery design. Some websites offer tools that allow a buyer to customize stock designs, thus eliminating the need to buy a digitizing software. While using a computerized sewing machine, one needs to follow these steps to create a design in thread.
1. The first step is for one to buy or create a digitized embroidery design file. Plenty of design files are available for purchase, as well as those that can be downloaded. Ensure that the designs you buy or download are compatible with your machine. If you have a design in a different format than that which your machine uses, you could convert it using a conversion software. However, if you have your heart set on a specific unusual pattern, you may have to create it. Out of those that are available, you may want to incorporate some changes or combine one, two or even three designs, using an editing software. It will enable you to rotate, scale, move, stretch, distort, split, crop, or duplicate the pattern. Many softwares also enable one to add text and change colors.
2. Once you have settled on the design you want to use, load the file into the embroidery sewing machine. Transferring can be done through cables, CDs, floppy disks, USB interfaces, or special cards that resemble flash and compact cards.
3. The next step is to secure the fabric. This needs to be done to ensure neatness and prevent wrinkles in the material and other problems. Where small embroidery designs are being made, the material is hooped, and the hoop is attached to the machine. The machine automatically positions it under the needle. In large designs, one or more pieces of material (such as vinyl, nylon or open mesh), called “stabilizers” or “interfacing” are added under and/or on top of the fabric.
4. The last and most enjoyable step is to start and watch the machine work its magic. Depending on your machine, you may be required to change threads or cut them.http://www.autoemb.com digitizing@autoemb.com

I started this and thought I had a managable way to get some work done and not be on the computer looking for or filing designs. It did not work! I finally figured out that THIS IS THE HOBBY. HUGS TO ALL.
How do I put a picture up for my name???
I am so addicted that my Baby has stitched 17,770,983 stitches.

trying to do something different, I went to Buzz Tools to see if I could up date it. I needed to covert SHV in their easy way. Well no update for my year of buzz tools, BUT THEY HAD A LOT OF FREE DESIGNS! So back into my addiction I go. I am addicted to designs and filing them is hard, but that is another topic.
