So glad you got plowed out Peggy. I remember when we lived in the country waiting on the snow plow. We might have our driveway clean but we couldnt leave til the road was plowed. Very frustrating !! Have a wonderful day since you can get out and about !

Do you mean you get a snow plow oput in the country??? Not here in TN where we live. Since we seldom get that much snow - we are left to suffer till it melts. so are most towns. Even NAshville doesn't clean the side streets. The snow never stays around for more then a week anyway in most cases. It would be so nice if they did plow the country raods. Here only state highways.

We live on a gravel road and the next cross road is also gravel. After 32 inches of snow this weekend, I don't think we will be venturing our for quite some time. We were digging out all afternoon and evening Friday and then all day Saturday. Our snow stopped coming down at 4PM Saturday. Today we will try to find our cars that were left outside the garage. Our Jeep is in the garage and the other two garages are filled with 8 train platforms (for model railroads) and lots of 2x4s, plywood, shelving and drywall for finishing our basement in our 1 year old house. I suspect schools will be closed for a few days since so many country roads nearby are gravel.

I kept watching the tv news reports on how much snow ya'll were getting. I feel for you. We've had another light dusting this weekend - nothing to talk about. The hills look pretty thugh - lol. But probably not as pretty as they do over your way Cathy.

Cathy you must live near my daughter. They got 30 inches and more coming today and tomorrow. She said that there is nowhere to put it!(when digging out) Here in Virginia, I cannot imagine that much snow. Keep safe and warm and enjoy sewing!!! Dreama

Wow you are positive. When I read you were snowed in, it was zero degrees and you finally were plowed out I had to make sure I was looking under the "good news" section.
It's great you were able to go to church though.
Can't imagine what you guys are going through. My youngest three children have no clue what snow is or that it is cold. Not sure I could do cold or hot again...may the warm weather fairies send you a warm sun ray to stop the winter madness.

I am glad that you can now move. I think the weather gods are confused. We usually get lots of snow. I posted lots of pictures in my albums last year, but this year, there is very little. Must be because we are hosting the Winter Olympics.
