That's beautiful! Can't wait to get the 50 states quilt blocks. I've started on my third state and may take on a couple of more. I also hope that there will be another quilt block swap after this one. I'm loving it!

Don't worry NanaJ - I am sure there will be another quilt block swap. they are sooo much fun and we get such beautiful blocks too! The floral one we did earlier in the year is the same way - such wonderful work from so many different hands.
Now if I can just sit my backside down and get those blopcks put together. Hmmmm maybe this weekend since it is suppose to be snow/ice/sleet/rain mix. My luck - the power will go out - lol then no sewing, quilting or ME. BUMMER! Not to mention freezing my backside off!
Duh Deborah - I started out to tell you it came otgether real nicely!!! And it looks so wonderful! Mind mind gets on a track and forgets where it was headed!
Deborah, your quilt is absolutely beautiful. I love the idea of a quilt block swap and hope to join in one day. Seeing your finished project really makes me want to find the time for a future swap. Thanks for sharing. It makes it much easier to visualize the entire project and all the creativity that everyone put into the project.

Teddy your quilt came out great. You got some wonderful blocks. I'm amazed you have it done already. Thanks for showing it to us.
Amazing! I can't believe how productive you are!![]()
This is really pretty and I know it's going to be twice as nice when you get done quilting it. You should take a picture of the center block, though - I can't see what it is.
Congratulations!![]()

Oh, okay! Yes, she really did some complicated and beautiful blocks!
For some reason, I thought you had specially made one of the blocks in the center to say that the quilt is from the swap and the year, etc. Maybe I dreamed that? Hahahah!

Deborah that is beautiful love the size and the colours are just great.
Thanks for sharing Ria
Deb,
I had not seen this beautiful top. I can't stop grinning. This is awesome. What a bunch of talented ladies we are!!!!
Wow.
And once again wow.
This is me drooling.... lol
I am so honnored that my blocks are the center of your quilt! (blushing with pride). Mine were complicated because I didn't know anybetter. These were the first quilt squares I have ever done before. I just loved the snow people -- but most of them ended up being the gal that I did up like a red hatter cuz I am a fluffy red hatter too. The angel I adapted from a wall hanging and I just loved her. I am going to do that one again.
I am mostly a garment sewer and I always thought quilting looked easy -- ha how disceptive was that -- matching corners and cutting perfect squares is hard. I have a whole new admiration for quilters! All the blocks had such character and I feel I know everyone a little better by having an upclose of their work. I probably won't get my blocks put together until summer -- home schooling an high schooler is time consuming!

Those are your (gulp!!!!) FIRST blocks????
I think I may give up quilting.... but, first I need to pick myself up off the floor.![]()
No, seriously, Lynn, those blocks were incredibly complicated and so well done. I assumed that you've been quilting for years. Bravissima! You are very talented to get everything so precise - heck, I struggle to even get a straight seam line! LOL! I'm super impressed.![]()
