we have a bunch of ladies that sew doll clothing, most of the 4x4 designs are still to big, we need some really tiny flowers, corners borders etc. Thanks to the digitizers who do all the hard stuff so we can enjoy what we do....hugs, Sue

I will agree to that request!
Small flowers, borders and corners would be perfect for me.
Thanks for suggesting it, Sue

I think alot of us are Grandmas & I made a bunch of doll clothes for mine. I too have an American girl so I can play dolls to. I also have 2 11" Bleuettes that have tons of patterns even free ones..& I went through alot of my millions of designs just looking for someting tiny enough to go on the bodice. I am going to start a file just for tiny doll clothes designs. so I won't have to hunt so hard...Hugs, to all of you doll lovers.. We are just little girls in bigger packages!
I have just ordered a Reborn doll I cant wait to get her, it will take about 6 weeks.
I just love Dolls but don't have a Reborn.
I have seen Sue's dolls they are just Beautiful.
Enjoy your Dolls ladies.
Enjoy Ria
I LOVE this idea! I haven't reborned a doll in a long time, but I just ordered three kits from Marita Winters, so I'll be back at it soon and when (if?) I get them done, they'll need clothes!![]()
Plus my DGD's AG - I have just about convinced hubs that I have to buy an AG for me so that when I make clothes for DGD's doll, I have a model to fit them to.![]()
Tiny flowers, bunnies, teddy bears, ducks or chicks, pets, any holiday theme - gosh, any of those would be so great!

I have some of the AG doll clothes from HeartNSole & she is working on a summer bikini set with sunglasses, sandals, hat, tote & who knows what else, her stuff is real nice & not to pricey. I got a baby dress from her & I use the bodice & add my own designs to it & the sleeves, they fit newborn & those great reborn babies too!..This weekend is the IDEX doll show in Orlando, alot of new reborn kits are being introduced for this year. I just love sewing for them...some really tiny heirloom style designs would be wonderful....
I would love to be at IDEX. I went to the Las Vegas one in 2007 and took a class with Pat Moulton - sculpting a newborn head. My little baby came out pretty well for a first try, and she's a wonderful teacher - truly gifted! If you ever get the chance to take a class from her, she's terrific!
I've been a Marita Winters fan for several years and I wish I had had the money to buy a couple of her dolls back when mere mortals could afford them! She's a really darling lady, too. My favorite doll of hers ever is Cassidy on this page - look at this little sweetheart! I would buy her today if I could find her.

OMG those are TDF, now I want to reborn again. I hit the jackpot at the flea market today I got an AG retired Samantha from the Original Pleasant Company in her original clothes...shes in great shape I might do a little paint on her lips & cheeks. but shes a keeper. I really need to get my butt in gear & go sew.. Quilt Silly, I have several little sculpted minis, & I tried it 1 time, enough to know some things aren't meat to be. Hugs, for you all.. Happy Sunday! Sue
Sue, congratulations on your flea market find! Samantha was the first AG doll I got.Great to find something so nice, especially when it's unexpected.
You are so right, I never find what I went looking for bbut always come home with some great stuff...I am making her some ITH sandals right now, they are super easy & turn out nice I am so glad there are great digitizers out there.. have a great week...Sue
I love minis, they are good for newborn humans as well. (as well as socks and hair bows)
Somewhere someone was saying that a few years back a magazine actually had doll clothes you could make in-the-hoop. That would be cool to do as well.
They really are sweet aren't they, If I get back into painting & rooting reborns then I have no time for all my sewing, so I let Debbie do all the reborning & I do all the sewing, there is a pi of Debbie & me at a doll show in my album, we've been best friends for 8 yrs I met her in a doll group & found out she lives down the street from me, talk about coincidence or mabye it was fate, we are soooo much alike its scarry! Angie did you get any clothes made for your Chatty Cathy? hugs ladies....
I've been wondering too, Angi. Waiting for you to post some pics.![]()
cquillen. There are baby cloths & doll clothes in the hoop available, try www.heartNSole.com I have done a bunch of her stuff & she makes it real easy & they are all very nice...
Angi, Iwe know you got her for Christmas, so is she going comando right now? better get busy & make her some fancies! I have tons of patterns if you need any let me know I'll gladly send you a couple. Try the HNS in the hoop ones too! I even figured out how to use an old sweater & make new dolly sweaters..maybe I'll send it to the newsletter. Hugs ladies, Sue
That would be a valuable newsletter article, Sue. I'll be watching for it.![]()
