      Default Embroidery is addicting

I never realized how addicting embroidery is. I have so many designs now I don't know where to start. Most of the time I just embroider out sample designs. Just seeing what they look like is amazing.

At least you are actually stitching out the designs. I have a lot - a really, really, really big lot - of designs that I have never stitched out at all.

I also have a tendency when I do stitch out a sample to get side-tracked into that sample becoming a project. Not a bad thing, really.

So James, it's good to see you here again. I was just wondering what you were up to since I hadn't seen a post from you for a while. Your comment about studying answered that question.

      It's good to be back

Hopefully I'll have enough time to digitize some new designs!

My husband says I am so addicted to embroidery these days that I have thread coming from my ears and designs tattooed on my arms, LOL I have to laugh because what he says is so true. So much so I just became a Life Time Member and bought everything. You can't beat the prices or quality of work.

Welcome to the world of a totally harmless addiction, but I have to correct you. You are not addicted - you are dedicated!

I know I have more designs than I can ever stitch out. I also have turned DS's old room into my embroidery room, complete with taking over his closet for blanks that I have found on sale. Someday soon I'm going to have to get down there and actually stitch something out.

keep them in a notebook..[yes, I have lots of notebooks,ha]..
and when I am ready to embroidery something, I look at my notebook, and see things, I forgot I even had.ha.
what fun all this is.. Judy

I must say that I have been here since Oct 09, and since then I have really enjoyed meeting lots of wonderful friends. I only got Joy (my ME) last Friday, I totally understand the addiction now, I spent most of the day yesterday looking at designs, I found lots that I wanted to down load. Only to get home to find out that my hubby took my computer to the shop to be fixed and they want to keep it for 5 to 10 days. I told him that he is going to be limited on his computer so I can use it as well.
