Thanks wienerin. I will try that out, thanks for your help. Cheers, Shirley
ossie, there is a special (sub-) forum here solely for such recommendations: It's in the "Sources" forum, and is called "Shops online and off" (go to the forum's mainpage and scroll way down...)

The only cure that I know is if all the machines stop working. and no way to get another one.
I would love to stop buying embroidery designs. Every time a new design comes out -- I want it. If only I were rich...<sigh>
Quiltkat, take photographs of your work and show off - we would like to see it!
Wow, Linda, you are on top of the world tonight! More than designs, I want time and lots of it!
I also have the same problem, I just can't stop collecting the designs! I have 1000's but I always use the sam ones over and over. I need a cure!!
Did I post this one up before? Now I find Stitch Delight is offering peacocks although not FSL at a cut price. Darn I should be shortening Brian's new trousers instead of looking at designs, so many designs and not enough time or money![]()
Love like there is no tomorrowLife upon the Earth is not a burden to be borne, but a joy to be learned and shared with others
QuiltKat, Why are you buying so many designs? I have over 40,000 designs and most are from freebies. Some of them are really beautiful, some are cute, and some I don't know what I will do with them but those I collected at the beginning. I'm being more selective. Plus with the points we get you can get a lot of free designs. I have over 150 sites I've found and I would say 99% give freebies. You don't need to go broke. I'm already broke so I have to find other ways to get designs.
I am making a spreadsheet with all the web sites I have with their web address. I will post it somewhere here or send it to anyone who want is when it's done.

Yah, the title of this thread startled me when I first saw it. Someone around here actually wanted to be cured of their embroidery/sewing/etc. addictions? Who could have been serious about that, especially with this group of enablers and "co-dependents".
We could actually look at it not as an addiction but as a true need, the same way we need water and oxygen.
Cure? I don't need no stinkin' cure.![]()

Instead of an addicton it could be considered therapy.

I don't need a cure, I need more money. Sending chocolate to all the sickies out there. I think we need the chocloate break to collect more designs.
