The good news is that it can be done, the maybe not-so-good news is that you would have to digitize the designs to make them into stitchable designs. That means you need to buy/find a program and learn how to use it. There are many different programs available and all have good and bad points. Some are terribly expensive, some are not very user-friendly, some don't offer very good results, and then there are some that are wonderful. Unfortunately, it is hard to find a consensus on which one(s) are wonderful. What I use (and love) I have heard others describe as awful and hard to learn. Search these forums for digitizing software information and definitely do your "homework" before you purchase something. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that you will get better results and be happier in the long run if you get a program for manual digitizing rather than autodigitizing (even though the autodigitizing is easier and faster). The learning curve is steeper, but it is just that much better of a finished product.
