Looks like you definitely have a keeper, Deborah! He is so sweet to help you out... But, men do enjoy using tools!
My hubby was laid off eight months ago and since than has become the house husband. Several times he has cut out quilt pieces for me (strickly using the Accuquilt GO!), that helps out a LOT! Today I am doing the ME on a quilt for a customer while he cuts more blocks for another quilt for the same lady.

There is always, always something to be thankful for.
You do have a keeper also. To help you cut out the quilt pieces for your quilt. Looks like you have quite the production line there.
That Accuquilt looks different. I have never seen one before.
Great hubby!!! Lucky you!!!
Tell us more about the Accuquilt cutter - would love to know all about it and how you like it. Do you have to buy a lot of accessories?

You should check it out on line, it's really neat. Kind of expensive though. He bought it for me for Mother's DayWhat I like is that you "roll" out your blocks and start stitching but I think it wastes a lot of fabric too.
The quilt I am making it a "rag" block quilt and this makes it VERY fast and easy. I am a total fan of that part.

Your hubby looks like he realy is enjoying himself.
Thanks for sharing Ria
Boy, he sounds like a keeper! BTW, which Pfaff model is that in the picture? It doesn't look familiar and I wondered if it is a new version?
this particular Pfaff is a Creative 2.0 machine (her name is Faith) with the embroidery component. I also have the Pfaff grand quilter (Quilty), a Pfaff serger (Sergy) and a Pfaff 1471 (Lady). Faith is the one who was sent to me by Pfaff because the one that I have had for 11 months had issues and they could NOT repair the timing; she is now 5 weeks old and doing fantastic things![]()

Ha ha. I thought I had a lot of machines with my old Singer bringing up the rear. I'm still working on the software for the 2170. I keep telling my husband that I need a period of time, sans interruptions, to learn and remember the system. Maybe after Christmas?!
Deborah - he does seem like a keeper. Not many guys would cut your quilt fabric for you. There are not mnay guys I'd trust to cut my fabric for me - lol.
Wisesewer" Is it possible to get a long space of time with no interuptions??? I thought that was just a dream we all had!!
aaawwww, thats so sweet angie. I wish my DH was crafty (in the fabric sense!)
I wont even let him in my sewing room, as he makes my fabric unravel lol. But, I do admit he does alot of the housework for me so Ican do some sewing. Hes a sweety.
This is great and you never know where it might lead. My husband graduated from cutting to sewing quilts and his first quilt was really awesome. I have to admit that when I first saw the fabrics he chose I thought it was going to be harshly loud and obnoxious, but when I saw the piecing I was blown away with the artistic effect.
So men not only enjoy their toys - they enjoy artistic creation as well!
