      Red face Delicate Hankies HELP!

So, I have this great idea to do these for several friends for Christmas. Found some I like, they came in no problem. Um, but now I am worried about how to stabalize them. They are very fine, as they should be, but I am worried about hoop burn and ripping them apart. I use the Sick fuse and tear 95% of the time but I am worried the fuse could be too strong for this delicate fabric. I am worried about shifting if I hoop a tear then baste.

Does anyone have any experience on this? If not on hankies maybe on a christening gown? Any thoughts about designs? I figure nothing too heavy.

      Thanks!

How about sandwiching it between a couple pieces of washaway and a light stablelizer. Spray it lightly with some pin of glue spray to hold it in place. Make sure that it is good washaway like Walmart sells it a mash of heavy plastic type. That way when it's done you can wash it a way. Then cut the light stablelizer to help mantain the design.
What every you come up with, good luck.
