An employee of ours had a similar situation about 15 years ago, and while you can never compare illness and expect the same result, she did exceptionally well with the surgery. Today, she is semi-retired and she and her husband take many trips around the country. She cross-country skiis and is in great shape. I think the doctor is right about being optimistic because medical science has improved so much, and keeps improving every day! Will keep you all in my prayers.

I just want you all to know that my sister had surgery to remove the cancer. They removed 3 tumors and her ovaries. They told my niece they think they got it all. They will run further tests to confirm this. I was thrilled to hear the good news. She will have to go in and have pap smears every 6 months now. She is at home for a few days to recoup before heading back to work. Once she gets the results back from the lab tests in about 10 days I will let you all know for sure what the results were. Thank you all for your prayers and loving support.

Patty that is great news!!!! I"m sorry your sister has had this problem - but I'm glad that they were able to remove the cancer!!! I can tell ya'll will definitley have a Merry Christmas this year. You will have a lot to celebrate!!
