these look so soft and cuddly! Beautiful work. I love knitting and it so relaxing when I'm watching Television. HUGZ to you!
I can't remember if I posted these pictures of one of my beginning knitting projects or not. Sorry if this is the wrong forum. Would be pleased if moderator moves it to where it belongs.
Anyway, the larger hat was the one that followed the pattern directions to the T. But, as you can see, it was huge. The sample matched their gauge, but, whatever, it was way too big for a newborn.
So, on the smaller one in the picture, I used 60 stitches and double yarn. It turned out to have much better body while still being soft enough for a delicate newborn. And, the size is just about right that little doll's head.....well, we'll see in December or January about that!

They look great wissewer and the smaller one does look like a better fit for a newborn. Thanks for sharing.

My first project for knitting was a cableknit sweater, it turned out to short, I was so disappointed, but I still love knotting, and i llearned a lot from the mistake.
