      It's 6 rows of purling, then 6 rows of knitting, etc., until the decreasing part. It turned out kinda' cute. I'm just debating whether to put a pompon on top or not. Next up is a hooded, baby afghan which will teach me some other knitting tricks -- seed stitch?!

      oh I see - this will make the part curl outwards-inwards-outwards-inwards etc. Looks nice and is perfect for a real warm cap!
