I'm sorry to hear this. It's as La Cole said, let her know you love her and yuo will honor her wishes. Keep strong - it's hard to let her go. My heart is with you.
I know how hard it is to be at the bedside unable to do anything. Keep your aunt as comfortable as possible, let her know that you love her, and that you will honor her wishes for her care. She will still be able to return the love.
Never give up, never surrender.

I'm so sorry that your aunt isn't getting better. She is in God's care. I know this is hard, just let her know that you love her and are there for her. Keeping you in my prayers. Dreama
I am sorry to hear about your aunt. I pray for a speedy recovery.
Life is too short even on the longest days.
Wow my Aunt has done it again. She left the hospital today. We had to move her into a nursing home though for now. She is still very weak and can't get around. She is living up to her nickname - the bounce back kid.
I just wanted all of you to know your prayers were ansered and they helped a lot. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Aunt from Ohio, sis and I moved her furniture from her assisted living place tonight and put into storage. They will finish moving her stuff tomorrow - small boxed stuff. But we got all the furniture moved. Talk about about an aching back. An old lady and two middle aged ones - you be surprised what us old ladies got done in an hour or so. Even moving it into the storage facility in the dark - lol. Car headlights make wonderful spot lights!
She told us tonight that she will get well enough to move back into the assisted living center - so we'd best keep her stuff all ready to move back in. I think she just might do it to!!
Thank you for the update on your aunt, tndemin. It is always wonderful to hear when a loved one is on the mend. Please don't forget to take care of yourself, too. A nice long, hot bubble bath is what you need now.
Never give up, never surrender.
Thank you for letting us know - sounds like she has an amazing spirit. But then, it sounds as if the rest of you don't give up to easily either! Well done to you, your sister and your aunt from Ohio also - try to get some rest now won't you?
Tndenim, Glad to hear the good news!! The power of prayer is awsome and God is good. Sounds like your aunt is a very strong willed person, and you be sure to keep her stuff in a moving back to assisted living mode, probably before Christmas!!! Still sending prayers for each of you. Dreama
This is such great news to read! So happy she is improving and hope each day is better than the day before for her. Continuing best wishes and prayers for y'all.
Take care of yourself,too.![]()
This is truely good news!! I am so happy to hear she is doing so much better! You know it's the older ones that know how to work and the younger ones haven't learned yet!!! LOL!! Joyce
I just recieved a call from my sister. they are going to operate on my aunt this afternoon around 4PM. She' s not very strong. She has an obstructed bowel. They have tried a lot of things to clear it - but it appears only surgury will work. So if ya'll could say a prayer for her - it would go a long way.
I'll let you know how it goes later tonight.
Thanks friends.
I hope she will pull through........keep strong!

Prayers for your aunt. She sure has had it rough lately. Dreama
Thanks for the prayers. She did not have the surgury last night. they started putting her under and her blood pressure went haywire. The cardiologist told us she had another small heart attack during that time. They stabilized her and lifeflighted her up to Nashville to one of hospitals there. She's stabile this morning - don't know where we go from here.

All my prayers go out to her and your family. We sure hope she'll be back to herself soon.

She is stable right now. It amazes me how much strength my aunt has. She held my hand tonight when we were there to see her. She gripped it so hard she left marks from her nails in my hand.
She squeezed my hand so tight it hurt. The nurse even commented on how strong her grip was. She said she couldn't believe she was 89 - she didn't look that old either. I can't wait to tell her about that. It'll please her.
They cannot perform surgury on - so not sure how this is going to go. We'll find out more tomorrow when they take another catscan.
I've told her that I have my friends here who are praying for her. Folks from accross the globe. That please her. So again - a big THANK YOU for your prayers. It means a lot to her and to me as well.
Thanks for the update. The strong grip is wonderful. You are keeping her spirits up which is so important and helping her be strong. Bless your aunt and bless you.
