Great tip, thanks for sharing.
Just got this from a friend of mine she saw it on a yahoo site and thought I would share it with all of you.
To dry my fsl, the only other thing I do is place the piece between two
sheets of plastic canvas, and clip them together with
paper binder clips. The plastic canvas allows the piece
to dry completely, but keeps it flat.
Great tip, thanks for sharing.
I agree, great tip. Will give it a try. Thanks!
Dorie - Great tip. I've done this before and it works very well. Cathy
Dorie, what a great tip! You should submit it to the DBS weekly newsletter. There are so many that never read the forums, but subscribe to the weekly newsletter.
Thanks bunches.
Thanks for all the great comments but I didn't come up with the tip, just passing it along.
watermelon I never have submitted anything for a newsletter so have no clue as how to do that, guess will have to search the forum to find out.
Dorie, thanks for the tip. It sounds like a great way to dry fsl.
I like that one. I have to go buy some plastic canvas. See you later.

Dorie are you signed up to receive the weekly newsletter? If not on the Home page on the right top, there is a place to sign up. In each newsletter there is a link to 'submit a tip' or 'submit a article'. I always enjoy the newsletter to read the articles and tips. You can also read them without signing up, and that information is on the left side of the Home Page. You could probably also go to help and support and submit your tip.
This is a great idea. I need to rewet some of my lace for the craft fair and dry it this way!
I know this is an older thread but I thought I would share my tip
I dry my lace between two splatter screens and clip them together and about this time of year I several hanging and drying
works great and the lace doesn't stick
the splatter screens are also a good idea - I must try that.
dorie thank you for the terrific tip for drying fsl. It will be very helpful when I get the courage to try fsl.
Life is too short even on the longest days.
Oh Roxanne, please try fsl it is so much fun I have been working on ornaments on and off all week.
great tip, I love doing FSL, usually I rinse it and dry it on a dish towel, then iron it. That is not a good thing, as I have stretched it out of shape ruining it.

Another good idea is to save the part you peel off of sticky back stabilizer. The lace won't stick to it.
Connie
pressing by what require excellent idea, my fsl always they lose on shape. wielie thanks for idea.
there are 2 really great ways to fast dry fsl
1: lay them flat on a twoel and dry on light but warm setting on yur blowdryer
2: place on racks in food dehydrator and turn it on check after a while
both of these ways work great for fsl and no stretching or out of shape pieces either

Thanks for the information on drying FSL. Dreama
I dry mine on a paper towel to get the major part of the moisture out - then I transfer to parchemnt paper and place on a flat cutting board. Then I put a second cutting board on top and hold down with this heavy craft book. They dry really well and very very flat.
