Good and bad news

The bad news was my daughter had breast cancer and a mastectomy last week. the good news is the pathology tests were good so no further surgery (for a while) but medication for the next 5 years.
She has endured this adversity with the peace and strength given by our Lord Jesus-all praise and glory to Him.

dhale - it must be so hard to see this happen to your daughter! - and how well you have raised her, that she has had the strength to get through it.
It is such good news that there is a way through this diagnosis, and the promise of a full life ahead. I wish her continued peace and strength for the future, and hope that all goes smoothly for her recovery.
I send you a big cyber ((((((HUG)))))) from one mother to another - as I know you have traveled every step of her journey with her, and felt every fear that she has been confronted with. (long live the power of prayer.)

as it happens I just clicked for the breastcancerresearch on that site. So I hope there will be found a cure for it in the near future.

dhale, praise our Lord God for the positive reports! I will pray for your daughter; to keep her thoughts always positive, her sights always on God and Jesus and their will be done. I pray for you for strength and guidence to help her in the days and weeks ahead. Body image disturbence is a major path to depression; I pray your daughter focus's on what is ahead and not what is lost. The lose is minor compared to her precious life.

dhale - I am so sorry to read fo your daughter's breast cancer and the subsequent mastectomy. What a relief that her pathology report was good. Thank goodness for her positive outlook and yours too. I will keep her in my prayers that her recovery goes well and that the next five years are not too stressful. May she lead a long and healthy life after this bump in the road. Cathy

dhale - I'ms o sorry to hear about yourdaughter. But I am happy she has good news to go along with the bad stuff. My aunt is a 15 year+ breast cancer survivor. So she has lots of good things to thing about. God will continue to help her thru this trial and will bring her to jopy at the other end. God Bless you both.

I'm sorry for your daughters illness. But I am a firm believer in the pwer of prayer. I'm glad she has her faith to sustain her through her illness and recovery. God Bless her, her family and yourself.
