I've never paid much attention to how that works when new alpha's are introduced. I never knew votes for other designs didn't count..sigh

I was unware that they reset to zero when a new alpha set is introduced . I am not inpressed with the new set. I am disappointed that we could not finish the red rose set.

I just looked and people are voting for some of the rose alpha'' However, the new B already has 118 votes, so a lot of us Sickies would have to vote to win...sigh

I didn't know about the wiping of votes either - but there are only three letters of the new alpha posted so far, so I expect we'll get a few more of 'our' letters when they have won (I think we would really be 'tilting at windmills' if we tried to compete with the new set - no matter whether we like it or not.)

I just looked and there are 125 votes for the Letter B. There is no way we can compete with that. I sure wish we were able to out vote it!!

(are you talking about the petite fleur font? because at cute emb. we start to hunt for the sunflowers as soon as we have chased down that missing H for moto)

The new alpha will probably go a new letter each day until complete. It will be a good one to use up little scraps of quilting fabric.

That's usually how it goes when they start a new alpha. It has to run til all letters are posted then the voting can start for whatever.

I'm with you, watermelon, thinking about those song lyrics. Very cute. I agree with the voting. It looks like we will have to let the new font run its course before we can attack the missing ones. I had already voted earlier today anyway. Cathy

Just want to remind you that tomorrow the ongoing alpha will be finished and we can try to catch missing letters. Before that new alpha started we were voting for letters from the Red Roses Font, and Lida was wishing for 4 letters from "Amazing Flower Font" (which I still could not identify ... could Lida please post the links to those letters??? A,B,G,J)
I'd like to go for these letters again, but if anyone is missing letters from the new alpha, please post them here now, so we can try to get them before a new alpha starts.
