Sadly all votes were in vain! (and the P would have won by 67/62!) but a new alphabet has been loaded - and as usual, the A is up even without any votes to it's name!
Actually the P was available for a couple of minutes - then the site went into error - then the A was there.
On the positive side - the new alphabet is a gorgeous one! AmazingEmbossedFont - and the Princess letters will still be there when this one has been completed!
I don't think it is worth trying for the F and P today, but will keep watching to see what sort of voting we would be up against.
The last time this happened the A was still there through the following day, so I hope no-one is going to miss it!

Yes, I just saw this !!! and the new embossed alpha is not looking very different from Cute's embossed one ... a little more complicated and several colors ! Embossed is a new fashion ???

Embossed has been around in the Linen industry for seems like a hundred years. But seems like for the home embroider it's the 'in thang'. Or at least the digitizers are cranking out embossed designs. The two latest on the Cute sites are similar, but this new one is a bit more detailed. At first I thought they were the same until I took a look at them side by side on my PED Basic. Maybe I'll try one on some fleece or a towel one of these days.

I prefer FSL, but seems applique and embossed have taken over....sigh

I really like the embossed designs but they are really taking over big time. They seem to be everywhere. They do stitch out nicely on towels. I did a set for a gift but forgot to take a photo. Maybe next time...
