If you eat it, it will sit on your hips forever. I made one and ate it as soon as I could, there is nothing chocolate I don't like. My body is evidence of this
...and I was born with chocolate in my mouth!
I am so glad you all brought this post back up. I lost it when my computer crashed and couldnt remember what it was called to search for it. I have it again !!! woo woo gotta love chocolate![]()

There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1 pkg chocolate sandwich cookies, ground into crumbs.
8 oz cream cheese
16 oz bar of chocolate-almond bark
Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs. Let harden in refrigerator.
Roll into ball to desired size
Melt 1/2 of the almond bark.
Dip balls into melted chocolate bark
Place on waxed paper to harden.
Enjoy!
Thanks Sewngranny, these cookies are quick to make and sound delicious!
I will make them for Christmas!
Just noticed a typo. It should read "roll into balls of desired size."
Sewngranny, your original recipe sounds pretty good to me-one large tasty cookie!
Merry Christmas!

I tried this recipe right away, with the fast response a chocolate cake deserves... LOL.
Here is my report: the cake looks kind of fluffy, pale and not so handsome to look at, but it was tasty and delicious. I loved it.
Then I sent the recipe to my DDIL (because she loves, loves, loves chocolate) and she sent me an email yesterday night. She was very pleased with the results and her daughter (my DGD) loved it as well.
So thumbs up for this recipe, many thanks iceqtray.

Hey, I never thought just one large cookie. Would you consider it "death by chocolate"?
Merry Christmas to you and yours....
Klarina, I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the recipe! Thanks for the thumbs up!
Merry Christmas!
The cookie recipe sounds great! The cake recipe would make a nice little Christmas present. Mix the ingredients into a little bag, add the directions, and place in a nice Christmas mug.
This is a good recipe. Makes a good dessert when you don't want left over cake alling.
Belle
Belle, I like to make this when it is very hot and I do not want to turn on the oven and heat the kitchen. I serve it with ice cream.
thanks for the recipe, lady at work made something similar, but used cake and a can of frosting.
Bgood, Happy New Year! and thank you for the geat idea of cake mix and frosting!
I must try it!
Thank so much for this recipe. I will use this to bring myself so much pleasure and not have the guilt of eating a half of cake all by myself.
I received some large mugs--decorated with hand painted chickens--for Christmas that should be perfect to use with this recipe. There's 4 of them, so come on over.
Never give up, never surrender.
Happy New Year,La Cole!
Thanks for the invitation-I'll bring the coffee!
