      Default fsl

How would I know if a design that I downloaded long ago - I don't even know from where - is free standing lace? When I first started downloading I didn't open folders for every site, so I've got some nice freebies and I don't know where I got them from so I could go back and take a look. Maybe I must just stitch out the pattern and see if it fals apart when I rinse it??

Test it by stitching it out. Then you would know for sure.

I would test stitch it on tulle first. That way, if it is not a fsl design, you may still be able to use it for something.

You could send us a picture of the design when you have opened it in your software.
Do a screen capture or print screen or page of the software window with the design showing in it.
Then maybe we could help you idetify it and help you with the question of wether it is free standing lace or not.
