winners gallery

I was wondering wether there was a gallery where all the winning designs were to be seen.
If not it may be a good idea so everybody can marvel at the winning designs. and maybe the instructions can go with them .

That's a lot to be asking of Patty with everything else she is doing for us. Maybe the winners could begin their own post as a courtesy to the general membership (and Patty). Overall, it is a very good idea.

Patty had the winners post the instructions for their winning project under the August contest winners thread. There is also a picture of the winning project.

That would be nice. Could it be placed with all the other albums, and just labeled winners gallery? That way when we click on "all albums" it would be there.

Great idea! I'm sure it will provide a lot of inspiration for all of us, as well as acknowledging the winners' efforts.

La Cole I didn't mean it to be Patty who has to do such a thing, just a general thought, I know she has a lot to do.

actually I thought there was such a gallery somewhere on the forum but I don't know where I can find it.

Just an idea. Maybe Cutiepie would make it a permanent sticky. Here is the thread for the winners.

This is already a good start..
what makes such a thread difficult to read( at least to me it is...) is all the nice comments in between...don't get me wrong, I like all those nice words and agree fully, but it makes things more difficult....
So, if it is possible, an album with photo's of the winning projects (with instructions or something like that) woul be very appreciated....

I am not sure if that is possible. It might be something to suggest to cutiepie. The thing with the threads is that anyone can comment there. If a thread was started just for winners instructions it would be impossible to stop others from posting comments there. There is a limit to the amount of words that you can write when posting a picture in an album. So that would not work. If you cannot find the instruction that the winners posted in the winning thread send them a private message. I am sure they would be glad to send you the instructions.

Hi all

How about asking the winners to post their instructions on the main web page, where the the link is that says projects (Im sorry, Im having a vague moment, I cant remember exactly what it is).

Then we can find them all really easy, and they will always be there.
