I would LOVE to do something with a spring theme! It's changing seasons for the better now down South and I'm inspired by spring. Or maybe I could use our own National holiday? Heritage Day on the 24th of September?

This year's theme is Our Arts & Crafts Heritage - quite appropriate don't you think?

Thanks, I will add that. Just to let you and everone else here know though, you do not have to make a project based on the month's theme. I mainly put them there for inspiration if needed. But you can post any season any theme you chose. Hope that helps everyone.

We had a vote to decide how many items a person can post each month for this contest. Here are the results.
      2 items- 18 votes
      3 items- 2 votes
      4 items- 3 votes
You voted and restricting the times that one can enter is limited to 2. I am also going to put this where it states instructions for entering the contest.

First we are going to use this to post pictures only of items that you want to be posted for this event. Below is a list of this months themes to help you when planning your project. The themes are only for an aide in thinking of projects. You can enter anything you want. For example if you want to enter something spring in the winter you can.

You can enter 2 projects per month only.

After considering feedback from members I have decided that as long as you have at least one design from DBS you can include designs from other sources in your project. Even is it is just use DBS lettering. Just make sure to mention which DBS set you used in your project.

I have made a few changes so I thought it would be good to have you look over this again.
I added an event and I posted the limitation on amount of projects each person can enter per month.
      Hugs, Patty

Each month I will offer different designs I digitized as prizes to everyone who enters. If there are any digitizers out there that would like to contribute a design of theirs to the winners please let me know.

Thes Lucky Winner gets all the designs
      2nd Place gets 4 choices
      3rd place gets 3 choices.

Again everyone who enters this month gets to choose 2 designs at the end of the contest.

As always please have fun and a special thanks for all those who participate making this a joy to us all. Here is some special holidays and national events observed that I thought would be nice to note.

      1. Labor Day
      2. Patriot Day
      3. Hispanic Heritage Month
      4. Indepenence Day Celebrated in September for Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Saint Kitts And Nevis
      5. National Granparents Day First Sunday after Labor Day
      6. In Australia Fathers Day first Sunday in September
      7. South Africa National Heritage Day on 24 September
You do not have to use these events in order to enter the contest. These are mainly here to offer inspiration if needed.

The Ice Skater and Geisha girl and dolphin are being offered in 4x4 and 5x7
Christmas frame is 4x4 only and embossed Christmas holly is 5x7

This month's contest will end on the 24th of the month to allow for the voting to begin.

You must include with your entry the name ot the DBS design set you used.

If you used a design from another source in addition to a DBS design please also state where the design came from.

Also winners are required to post instructions on how to make their project. If patterns are used name of pattern. After all the best form of flattery is someone wanting to make something you created.

The voting will start On the 24th to allow for time to listing everything that will be voted on.

This is for great way to have and show our thanks to DBS for their great designs.

The top three winners will have their pictures posted in a winner's folder and each month 3 more will be added.

You can do several different things to be voted on but please post picture separate unless you want them to be voted on as a group.

You must include with your entry the name ot the design set you used.

Also winners are required to post instructions on how to make their project. If patterns are used name of pattern.

Thanks everyone for all your hard work. Good Luck.
      Patty
There are a few changes I made so I thought it would be a good idea to have you read the instructions again. I added an event and also posted the limitation on how many items a person can enter each month.
