Good Morning Dorie,

Glad to hear everyone likes the tooty curtain. I am always trying to think of some project to brighten up our place and especially to listen to the comments from our grandkids (nine of them) when they come. It is always fascinating to hear them requesting items to be made. By the time all of them reach thirty they will have enough towels, handtowels and washers to do them for the rest of their lives. The kids (even the older ones love designs put on the towels etc, and for our oldest grandson (21 now) he is into dragons, so bought these designs of dragons and embroidered them onto his towel for his birthday and made him a pillowcase with dragons all over it (can't show you that one) he has it and lives miles away. He and the rest of the kids can't believe what you can do with embroidery, and between Sick and Emb Library I have absolutely magnificent designs for them. Hope your day is wonderful. I had better be off ...... embroidery to do for Fathers Day this weekend. Cheers Shirley

Shirley, I think a lot of people picked there own avatar but Cutie Pie surprised me and put one on for my name. I had only been on a short time an was thinking of what to put there and signed on and there it was. I am sure she would do one for you.

Hi Brendja, Thanks for the compliment. I had fun embroidering it out. I am just about to post another photo probably in a couple of days of a pillowcase I am finishing for my grandson. I have made it a pirate theme and it is really cute and funny. Have a nice day. Shirley

Thank you also ginny1960 for your lovely words. I just went to the top of the page here and read your comments. Embroidery is such fun. Like brendaj says sew many addictions ..... sew little time. I totally agree with her. I wish there were 48 hours in a day, most of them would be taken up embroidering. Cheers Shirley

Went back a page and read your message to me. Is that what it is called ... icon I mean ... an avatar. Wow will keep that one in the memory banks.

I am recovering from pneumonia so have not been feeling well enough to go into the forums. I am almost better, have been embroidering for the last few days, and as my husband says "if she is embroidering she is getting better".
