      Default Paper Dolls!

How about a few paper doll sets ? I loved paper dolls when I was young, and I think my granddaughters would love some now. Have seen a few on other sites, but it would be a great addition for DBS.

that would be lovely. I haven't made paperdolls yet and don't know what to use to do so but I would love to try it.
Maybe a kind of victorian or vintage dolls would be nice

I'd like to see some paper dolls with a variety of clothing. I would like to see the hair done with the fringe technique so you could braid the hair.

Yes, paper dolls would be great. I loved them when I was young too. I also don't know how to do them either. Maybe a heavy duty tear away? How do the clothes stay on? I know someone will know.

I have never made any, but here are some directions:

This would be such a lovely idea to have paper dolls.

Saskia, I love your idea of victorian and vintage clothing and dolls.

Windstar, Great idea of using the fringe technique for the hair.

In my album are some paper dolls I made if you want to see some stitched out. There is a product called Tack it Over by Aleene. That is what you do to keep the clothes on and off. Some people use double sided tape. I stitch mine out on felt and EZ felt which is a stiff felt.

Default Thank you for the help.

Thank you La Cole and Windstar for the tips. Maybe I will try some this weekend. I know I will have just as much fun with them as my granddaughter!

Well, this is not test-stitched, but here is a paper doll bear set if you would like her.
