What a beautiful job! Thank you for the download, but unfortunately my machine does not recognize the ART. format. I tried to open it in Tajima but it says it can not recognzie the file.

Whoops Mary, let's try for 'third time's the charm'! - this one's art as well
I hope you can give us the PES - because I would love to have a go with it. Because it is a 'blank canvas' you have left it open to so many variations! I'm looking forward to trying it in combination with various little embellishments, or maybe an elegant monogram.
I love that you are sharing your 'learning curve' (or should I say 'wave'?)
And I'm certainly looking forward to being one of your 'victims'!

Now I have an even bigger oops. I just lost the file with my embroideries (just the ones I've made!). If I find it, I'll let you know.

Thanks motoandnutty! You are so kind

And you know, you are so right! It is so hard to find just a plain heart! I wanted to do a heart, as I'm always putting hearts between the initials on embroideries for brides.

lol, I liked your pun! I'm such a sucker for a good pun!

I downloaded the design from sick and tried re-saving it as a PES. Third times a charm, right?

Mary, a great big thank you - it was a delight watching your heart spread across the screen (in Ambassador!)
Are you really looking for ideas - that could be dangerous, as there are probably as many suggestions as there are members!
I love doing 'crazy' patchwork and am always looking for short rows of simple lacy stitches to go along all the seams within the blocks. (I'm not sure that I've explained that properly) but I like to have each little seam covered by a different pattern.
Another thought is blocks of pattern similar to Japanese sashiko designs?
