My Brother machine has a special hoop.
Hi, Mora. I am not sure what a flex fit hat is. However my Babylock Professional came with an adjustable hat hoop. You might try sticky stabilizer which you would hoop (stitcky side up or glue side up) and attach the embroidery area of the hat to it. If you use the Sulky brand of sticky stabilizer, you would hoop the stabilizer. Then score the paper backing and peel this backing off. This would keep your hoop clean. Then start your embroidery keeping an eye on your machine as it stitches. The other option is using stabilizers that you'd wet to activate the glue. You would hoop the stabilizer, then lightly wet the glue, let it sit a minute or two to activate the glue. Then you would press the hat (where you desire the embroidery) into the sticky stabilizer. I'd wait a few minutes to ensure that the hat is sufficiently attached before starting to embroider. Again I would remain close by the machine. I've done this method with my older machines. And it works well. Good luck with your project. Cathy
